SYRENA looked a certain future maiden winner when placed in her first four starts including in a huge field at the Curragh. She was sent into Listed company at Tipperary last time and wasn't disgraced so this should be her day. Her stable companion Elleanthus might well provide the main threat as she made a promising start in a big field over 6f at the Curragh and will have come on markedly for the experience. Sunblessed showed the benefit of her opening run when only beaten a length over this track and trip. She's by Sir Percy so will stay further in time though the conditions should aid her cause. Clonard Abbey did a bit better when sent to Ayr though will need to raise her game again but Never Shy Away showed potential at Leopardstown, despite not getting the run of the race, and should get into the action.
