GELENSCHIK has been making steady progress in maidens and was an impressive winner when making all at Killarney and begins in handicaps off what could turn out to be a very lenient mark. He'll be difficult to catch here though One Cool Poet will ensure he doesn't have things his own way. He's produced two very good runs over the course and distance this summer and, with the experienced Sean Corby doing the steering, should get into the frame. Ridestan won at last year's Festival and was mainly confined to jumping hurdles in the spring while Tawseef is back on the same mark as when landing a Gowran handicap in May and would be a threat if the ground turned heavy. Buzz Off Barroso found 1m2f on fast ground too short last time and Tom Madden's claim can enable her to do better.
