Verdict

SHANANN STAR has yet to win over regulation fences but went close to doing so when beaten less than a length over a similar trip to this at Wincanton. She looks to have strong claims in a weak handicap with Hinton Indiana looking the main threat despite returning from an absence. The latter was placed on a couple of occasions back in 2015 but has done all his winning so far on good or faster ground. Roparta Avenue has failed to figure since winning at Plumpton in April and remains 12lb higher while the remaining pair are even harder to fancy in their current poor form.
