Verdict

A highlight of the Fontwell season which will not prove such a slog as usual due to the unseasonably forecast good ground. Dan Skelton will be pleased with conditions as SHELFORD acts well on this terrain and a repeat of his runner-up performance in Listed company at Uttoxeter and when third at Market Rasen in the same grade, both in the summer, should see him go close. Coolking may possibly be less favoured by the ground but he was progressive last term, as a result of which he's 25lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield last January. Bugsie Malone seems fairly well treated and should get the trip on this ground whilst the likes of Rathlin Rose and Azure Fly are also considered.
