THURSDAY'S KNIGHT may be able to rise to the occasion on debut for his new yard whilst recent winners Roussea and Zorro De La Vega have obvious claims. Thursday's Knight used to reside just down the road at Jim Best's where he won one race over hurdles. The handicapper took umbrage at the manner of that success and he still looks high enough in the weights but the switch to chasing for his new team could see him bring about further improvement. Roussea is a course winner who was scoring for the fourth time when narrowly prevailing at Wincanton. A 6lb rise looks fair enough given that the first two pulled clear of the field and he should run his race. Zorro De La Vega ran on well to win his second race in his last four starts and his first for this yard and he remains well enough treated on his old form for the Pipes despite a 12lb rise. Ursumman has to be feared given his connections whilst Good Old Days is capable of better than he showed last time but we'll take a chance with Thursday's Knight.
