JACK SNIPE was beaten only a nose at Wincanton last month having slid 11lb down the weights this year. He’s preferred to Huntingdon runner-up Port Navas, who was still beaten a distance. Tenant Farmer has won a point-to-point since last seen over hurdles in February 2015 while Magic Mustard will likely improve for a more recent comeback at Southwell where he finished fourth. Lough Derg Island went close at Uttoxeter in April but was raised 6lb for that and has been well beaten since.
