Prime Pretender has placed a couple of times this year but never looked like winning on either occasion. After falling on debut, BIGBADMATTIE was allowed to start at generous odds on a return visit to Worcester but was always travelling best and won with a bit in hand. He is an embryo chaser but looks worth sticking with in this grade. Guinness Affair is two years younger and made a winning start over timber at Stratford so can’t be ignored.
