The best race on the card and there's likely to be money for Surf And Turf for a yard that does well with these unexposed types in handicap chases. He was just outbattled at Leicester last time and should improve but may not represent too much in the way of value. Watergate is up 6lb for landing what looked a soft race last time and this looks tougher, so the vote is awarded to SAWAGO. He ran well over C&D when second to Free Speech before going one better when scoring easily at Lingfield from Morestead. Placings were reversed when the pair met next time but the selection will be better suited by this drop in trip on much better ground. The Laodicean is a model of consistency and houses decent each-way claims, whilst She's Humble and Owner Occupier cannot be discounted in a competitive heat.
