Verdict
VEGAS BABY landed a claiming race at Windsor on his penultimate outing and is taken to get back to winning ways at the expense of Billy Beetroot and Papillio. The selection is still only lightly raced and is more than capable of winning a race of this nature if he can recapture his best form. Although he disappointed at Leicester last time out this race does look like an easier opportunity and at his best he ought to go close. Billy Beetroot is still winless in ten outings to date but he has been a consistent sort and has rarely been out of the first three. Again this does look like one of his easiest opportunities for a while and with luck in running he will not be too far away come the business end of the race. Papillio is dropped into claiming class for the first time having struggled in handicaps this season. He has shown form in the better races than this in the past but the market will be the best guide to his chances. This race will not take much winning and Vegas Baby looks more than good enough to win it.
