Blue Space is taken to defy topweight at the expense of Chant de Guerre, She's So Pretty and Barbs Pink Diamond. Blue Space made the most of a decent mark to open her handicap account at Lingfield 10 days ago, and despite topweight here, still looks well enough treated. On breeding she should easily handle the step up in trip, and with Seb Sanders on board, Peter Makin's filly should go close. Chant de Guerre gave a gutsy account to get back up and score at Brighton, and is another that will have no problem with the step up in distance, while She's So Pretty has stamina on the dam's side, but is still a maiden. Barbs Pink Diamond has also yet to open her account, but went close over the course-and-distance on the second of her two visits to the Kent track, and is worth a small mention, but for the winner we return to Blue Space.
