Verdict
The usual cliches about watching the market have to be reiterated here as races like this are always going to be a minefield for punters. Therefore, Stock Dove is only a tentative choice to lead her rivals home. Of the rest with experience: Zaffre didn't really progress from her debut and is probably best avoided under her penalty, whereas Emerald Express put in a cracking display on her debut despite getting loose in the preliminaries. However, she may have her own ideas and it may be prudent to leave support for her until late to see how she settles. Of the newcomers, Kingsbay is held in high regard and it will be interesting to see how much support she attracts - with the same comments applying to Lady Lola, whose pedigree suggests she will need a little cut in the ground if she runs to type. Therefore, Stock Dove may be the safest option in a very tricky finale to the card at Folkestone.
