Verdict

LUCKY MIX is in receipt of all the allowances and she can take the measure of Thanks For Coming and Character Actor. A reasonably priced half-sister to Keepthedreamalive. Her dam was a fair hurdler on the day and if the market speaks in her favour, she has to be respected. Thanks For Coming was actually a cheaper purchase at the sales though has a much more obvious flat pedigree. There won't be too many relatives to Park Hill and Cheshire Oaks winners heading around Ffos Las this afternoon. Character Actor has to give away the penalty accrued for success in a Fairyhouse bumper. It will be fascinating to see if any euros have accompanied him on the ferry. Bobbie Magern is a full brother to the legendary Ollie Magern though he didn't look to be particularly quick on his racecourse introduction. Pontyates is likely to need this if his pedigree is anything to go by. Santamina is something of a blue blood by comparison as his dam was a half-sister to the grand staying chaser, Bradbury Star. A race to watch rather than punt heavily upon and Lucky Mix is the pick.
