Pilsdon Pen has returned a beaten favourite in all three starts since beating Fanfaron Dino at Exeter in November and the latter hasn’t fared any better subsequently. Proper Twelve ran his best race over hurdles so far when second at Plumpton but WALKINTHEWOODS (NAP) is preferred back here. The latter struggled over a longer trip on soft going last time but was beaten less than a length over course and distance before that and the winner has subsequently gone in again.
