Verdict

NO COMMENT (NAP) escapes a penalty for last week's victory in a conditionals' race at Huntingdon and can go in again. Xcitations went up 10lb for an easy victory here in March and may be a few pounds high while Quoi De Neuf returns after a long break. However, the latter has generally performed in better class and has gone well fresh in the past so looks certain to make a bold bid. After an impressive victory at Chepstow in March, Major Dundee ran very poorly at Ayr a month later and that wasn't his form while dual point-to-point winner The Golden Rebel looked one to follow when landing a Doncaster maiden hurdle by 29l but has failed to follow that form up.
