This should be fairly straight-forward for Paul Nicholls' Le Passing so he gets the nod, with The Penny's Dropped, Cantarinho, and Galapiat De Mesnil fighting it out for the minor honours. He won at a canter just twelve days ago at Fontwell and again has lumps in hand on the opposition today. The trip and ground are right up his street and he can take this on his way to bigger things in this sphere this season. The stable's horses are running well at present so he gets the confident vote. Galapiat Du Mesnil won well over course and distance when last seen, however that was 282 days ago so fitness must be taken on trust. If sharp enough, he has place claims. The same applies to The Pennys Dropped who was useful before getting injured in 2005. It can be assumed that he should come on for this run, however it would still be wise to watch him in the market. Cantarinho goes well fresh as he showed when a fair second in this race a year ago, however a place may be the most he can hope for today. Galway Breeze won this contest last year so warrants respect, whilst Gentlemans Relish is certainly unexposed so should be watched for signs of confidence in the market. For the winner though we can confidently return to Le Passing who should be classy enough to prevail today.
