      Verdict

Inherent has won her last two starts and Henry Daly's mare has to be respected despite having to give weight away all round but she would not appear to be particularly well treated for her debut in this grade and preference is for Lilac, with Vicky Bee rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has been waiting for his favoured fast ground and with conditions to suit he looks worth a wager off what seems a fair mark. Lady Roisin is less exposed than most but needs to improve, while Ausone is hard to recommend on recent evidence. Vicky Bee looks to be going the right way and has to be respected but preference is for Lilac, who is taken to give Evan Williams another winner.
