Verdict

Sixhandsinmypocket came with a steady run to go second at Navan but was still beaten 10 lengths. Royal Romeo couldn’t get close to the odds-on American Mike at Down Royal but it was a very promising start and there’s more to come. The winner’s yard is represented by the once-raced Baba Buck’s, who can’t have been right when tailed off at Thurles in March, and Sa Fureur, a half-brother to four winning jumpers. Data Beach is bred for the Flat being a half-brother to a 5f winner but L’yser should make a chaser in time. WESTERN WALK is a half-brother to the stable’s winning bumper and promising hurdler Churchstonewarrior and gets a speculative vote to make a successful debut.
