Verdict

Tauran Shaman followed his maiden victory with a battling effort at Galway, fighting back to concede 20lb to Insane Bolt, who didn't enhance the form at Killarney. Tennessee Wildcat has changed stables since landing a Gowran claimer and this looks tougher but METIER's six-length victory over Bashiyr at Gowran has been given a huge boost by the runner-up, who has won both subsequent races, so this looks another for the Slatterys. The Weld stable is represented by the progressive Kiss For A Jewel, a comfortable winner at Tipperary, while Finding Nero and Major Reward fought out a finish at Gowran and there's very little between them again.
