All eyes here will be on the current Arkle favourite UN DE SCEAUX, who went into a similar race at Thurles undefeated after nine starts which included three graded events over hurdles. He started 1/8 and was bowling along merrily in front until slipping and falling at the third last. It's unlikely he'll make the same mistake again and compensation awaits. One Cool Shabra makes a quick reappearance after a very good effort behind Sizing Coal at Navan on Sunday and his rider's claim can see him into a place. Rory O'Moore is very consistent but was 29l behind Un De Sceaux over hurdles at Thurles a year ago though arrives in winning form having ploughed through the mud at Cork last month. Minella Foru won his first three races and has by no means been disgraced when tackling better company. He hasn't performed badly in his two runs over fences and should make a decent chaser. Somethingwonderful did quite well over hurdles but looks like making a better chaser despite falling at the second last at Thurles when in the lead.
