Verdict
SLANEY STAR had just been headed when falling two out in a similar race over course and distance last month but probably would have finished ahead of eventual second Fruity Bun and fourth Sedgemoor Top Bid had he stayed on his feet. Second at Fakenham and Towcester last month, he must have a good chance today with a clear round. Trumix has his sights lowered and is tried in blinkers and could also figure if they have the desired effect. While You Wait has been running well on Polytrack lately and completes the short-list.
