Verdict

SPRING MOON ran his best race so far over C&D earlier this month and could edge this match. He has a chasing pedigree so should improve as he gains experience over fences and is less exposed than winning hurdler Mumbles Pier, though it would still be no great surprise if Peter Bowen's gelding came out on top if his jumping proved up to scratch.
