Verdict

SILVER IN DISGUISE and Light Flicker finished 1-2 over a similar trip at Chepstow in March with Favori De Sivola a well-beaten third. The winner is better off at the weights here but hasn’t fired in two runs this term, though does need a thorough stamina test like this so gets another chance. Recent Ffos Las winner Alminar has been found wanting beyond 3m1f in the past but Some Detail was third in the Highland National at Perth in April under a patient ride with both subsequent starts coming over shorter trips. Don Herbager looks a threat to all on wins last season at Lingfield and Bangor while De Young Warrior goes well on the track.
