Verdict

Sir Guy Porteous was allowed his own way up front at Carlisle last week and made all for a cosy win. He'll go close again if similar tactics are employed but ANGELIC UPSTART is taken to keep tabs on him this time. The latter was hampered when just about to challenge Abseil in much better company over track and trip last month and gets the nod in this assuming normal luck in-running. Mindurownbusiness is another dropping down in class after a below-par effort at Ascot and Newmarket runner-up Desert Society isn't out of this either.
