Verdict

Octavia showed little in her opening runs but improved a little on her nursery debut here in November. Lady Mandeville landed a Down Royal nursery over 7f in September but offered little encouragement when beaten a long way on her reappearance three weeks ago. She had earlier finished close behind NO FEAR when Willie McCreery's charge scored at Bellewstown and the winner, who ran well for a long way in the Tattersalls Sales race at The Curragh, can make a successful reappearance. Demelza has shown some pace in maidens over 7f and will be suited by tonight's trip while Enter The Priory, who finished last behind Lady Mandeville at Down Royal, found the trip too far and has done better in sprints on this track.
