Verdict

Plenty of track and trip winners here including Pretty Little Liar, a winning hurdler who looked more suited by 1m4f when successful last week where she led in the closing stages. NEVER MISTABEAT was clearly suited by first-time blinkers when gaining a surprise-but-decisive victory in January for which he went up 12lb. He then ran over 1m4f a month later and was in the lead at this trip before caught close home so can get back to winning ways. Wojood has been consistent since scoring from 5lb lower last summer and the lack of a recent run shouldn't be a concern but Crest Of A Wave never landed a blow a fortnight ago despite only going up 4lb for a previous victory. The lightly-raced Morph Speed is only 1lb higher than when scoring here in February last year.
