DEVIOUS ANGEL was having her first start since transferred from the UK when placed behind the in-form Adams Barbour over the minimum three weeks ago. She finished strongly after failing to obtain a clear run and had Primo Uomo and Ajax Tavern behind. Rocky Dreams was twice behind the latter at the turn of the year but Laugh A Minute is better class than these on Turf having won a Listed contest at Cork in April though he's yet to win on the all-weather.
