Verdict

SAN ANDREAS has won four times here and though his last victory was in March he's mainly performed well in better company than this and may just have the edge on Real Appeal. The latter will be having his 25th start but his first on an artificial surface. He's been racing at Group level since landing a Group 2 at Leopardstown in September 2021 and is an obvious threat if taking to the surface. The selection's yard is also represented by Anthem National, a winner at Newcastle for the Crisford's and placed in a Listed contest on Polytrack at Lingfield in March. Angels Wrath made a winning debut here in 2021 and will be better for last month's run after a very long absence.
