In depth

Verdict

FACE VALUE's best form for Brian Meehan came on Kempton's Polytrack and he made a winning start over timber for Gordon Elliott at Punchestown in October. He arrives here on what could prove a very lenient mark and gets the vote. Bramante stepped up in trip last time and gained a convincing victory but he's got even further to go this time and is 9lb higher. Word For Word, who started favourite for that latter event, ran no sort of race and is better judged on his two previous starts which would give him a chance in this. Imprudent Miss is running very well at present and is a big threat as though she's 5lb higher than her winning C&D success last month she's still well treated on the balance of her form.
