Verdict
The top trio all ran moderately on their debuts and will need to show improvement while Mozetta makes her belated debut though she's a very well connected Azamour filly out of a Sadler's Wells mare. Nieve was beaten over 8l when runner-up to Champagne Or Water on soft ground at Sligo but the winner was well beaten at Naas on Wednesday. Rayna attracted support on her debut at Gowran but took a long time to warm to her task. She'll improve for the run but the greater experience of WESTPIESER should prevail. She was narrowly beaten in two strong maidens on this track before appearing to dislike the testing ground at Clonmel though she showed signs of temperament pre-race and doesn't look one to risk the mortgage on.
