Verdict
TAKAPOUR had his first run on Polytrack when a very good fourth behind Smartcity over the C&D in April and has been given plenty of time to mature. He has the potential to do better and gets the nod in this moderate event. Aragorn Rouge has been inconsistent but has gone well here in the past and would go very close on the form shown when runner-up to Cloudgazer at Navan. Charpoy ended his first campaign finishing runner-up here when strongly fancied but he's shown little in two runs on turf this season, while Tony Martin tries winning hurdler Golan Guy in blinkers after a poor effort at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
