Verdict
Moktaffy has been unfortunate to run into some smart performers but that may be the case again here. He only had a neck to spare over Baron Zee when they occupied the places behind Dublin Journal at Naas and the latter, who was making his debut, can reverse the form. Gamigin was also just behind though had every chance and looks held but MALAWI looks an interesting entry for Coolmore. The son of Galileo had a cracking middle-distance pedigree and entries at Royal Ascot and in the Irish Derby suggest he's held in some regard. Witham River is another newcomer to note as the 200,00gns son of Galileo is related to a host of winners including the very smart sprinter Art Connoisseur.
