Midnitemudcrabs just got up to land a claimer over 7f here last month then couldn't quite catch Reckless Lad over a mile a week ago. Both are likely to find this on the short side while the former's stable companion Burn The Boats has also done better over further and was a long way behind Rivellino on the sand at Laytown. The latter has the worst of the draw but has since performed creditably in a decent handicap here and has a good record on the surface as has MENELIK, who has spent most of his career racing in the UK but has Pat Smullen on board and an ideal draw so gets the nod.
