Happy Anniversary scored over the track and trip a year ago but has run poorly in two subsequent starts. Waterloo Sunrise has won once in 46 career starts and is still 10lb higher while the former Richard Fahey-trained Marble Statuette hasn't run since February. Havelock Ellis scored over the course and distance early last month then made a bold bid to defy a 10lb rise three weeks later. He's up another pound but should still have the edge over Cappadocia, who was just behind in that latter event, and Valley Queen, who was further back. BOLD HENMIE (NAP) hadn't shown much before coming here last month and finishing third behind Hilary at 33/1 with Indigo Iris just behind. Peter Fahey's charge didn't get the run of the race or he would have finished much closer so Billy Lee is taken to steer him to his first success.
