        Verdict

        Adams Barbour just failed to catch Brushwork over the track and trip on Wednesday though was receiving 23lb in that higher-grade event. He had earlier beaten King's View just over a length when conceding 9lb but though the latter is much better off at the weights his career record is 0-40. The lightly-raced Wait A Little was only fifth in that latter event but has more scope than most. COLLECTIVE POWER usually runs over further but gained his only success to date over the course and distance in November and is 4lb lower with his rider's claim taken into consideration. Slade Runner was in fine form here at the beginning of last year and is just 1lb higher than his victory in January.
