Verdict

Canadian Steel completed a double over hurdles here last summer and has also scored over fences on the track so shouldn't be dismissed. Give Him Time also won over timber here in July and is on a 6lb lower mark over fences while Ask Cory was having his first start for Henry De Bromhead when running well at Wexford and is open to improvement. However, he was 11 lengths behind CUSHINSTOWN FINEST that day and Colin Bowe's mare, who had run well when second to The Trigger here on her previous start, can get off the mark over fences. Double Windsor has won three times over fences though hasn't run over the bigger obstacles for over a year.
