Noble Endeavor, beaten a head in the Martin Pipe at this year's Cheltenham Festival, makes his debut over the bigger obstacles and is an obvious contender as is MARINERO, who has a similar rating over hurdles and looked very progressive last season. Tony Martin's charge has a tremendous pedigree for jumping fences and is taken to make a successful debut. The trainer also runs Sarwistan, who has a fitness advantage having won at Downpatrick a couple of weeks ago, though he was rated well below his stablemate over hurdles. Bonny Kate soon has her attentions switched to fences after completing a double over timber in March before pulled up in the Mares' Championship Final at Fairyhouse.
