OVERTURN, Shadrack and Nothingbutthetruth make most appeal here and the vote goes to Overturn. Donald McCain Jnr is firing in plenty of winners at present and Overturn looks a good bet to keep the momentum going. He was a fair sort on the flat and he shaped with plenty of promise at Hereford last time on only his second start over hurdles. The ground will not be a problem for him and he has a decent conditional booked to ride so he makes plenty of appeal. Shadrack broke his duck at Catterick earlier this month and he remains unexposed so there may be more to come from him. Tim Pitt's runner Nothingbutthetruth reverts to hurdles after unseating his rider over fences at Doncaster last time. He handles cut in the ground but he wouldn't want the ground to go any softer. Giles Hawkins is a rider with a developing reputation and he partners Hammer who could go well at an each-way price. Alan King's runner Prince Broc has ability but he has failed to complete in four of his eight starts and on that basis we will take him on. Overturn makes most appeal and he gets the vote.
