In depth

Verdict

PERFECT HARMONY (NAP) was considered good enough to run in last season’s Champion Bumper. He made a promising start over timber behind the classy On The Blind Side at Aintree and was then second behind the useful Count Meribel at Ascot. That’s the best form on offer in this and he is fancied to open his account today. Jonjo O’Neill runs three but Oakley Hall looks the pick and should be thereabouts dropped in grade, though was behind subsequent Taunton runner-up King Of Realms at Ascot. The lightly-raced Cracking Destiny makes his hurdling debut but the step up in trip will suit the winning pointer and he makes more appeal than Going Gold and Present Ranger.
