Falcon Rock has been the model of consistency this season but Simon Callaghan's gelding has gone up another 4lbs for his second at Newmarket last time and he may not appreciate the step up to 1m4f and it may be worth giving another chance to PRECISION BREAK, who gets the verdict ahead of Quai d'Orsay. The last mentioned looks the pick of Mark Johnston's two runners ahead of Matraash and he should appreciate the return to this trip on fast ground having not been at his best over further and on a softer surface of late. Amanda Perrett's Night Crescendo would prefer a bit of cut in the ground so may be best watched and of more interest may be Ralph Beckett's Seeking The Buck, who has been running consistently well of late. The vote though goes the way of Paul Cole's Precision Break, who ran no sort of race in the Ebor last time but earlier form when a narrow second in a decent Goodwood handicap reads well and a reproduction of that form will see him tough to beat.
