Blaise Wood has obvious claims and can follow up here at the expense of A Bit Of Fun, Holly Walk and Northern Friend in a very weak affair. Although Blaise Wood won an equally desperate contest at Towcester last month, that form entitles Gary Moore's youngster to line up as favourite here as none of the others can even match his limited exploits. This grade is obviously his level and although he will definitely struggle if upped in class at present, a follow up is very much on the cards, with ground and trip to suit. A Bit Of Fun would appear to be the main danger as John Quinn's charge was noted staying on when making a mistake at the final flight at Haydock in non-selling company. As that was only his second start over timber, he can only improve. Holly Walk will be all the fitter for his return to action on the Flat at Southwell nine days ago and has claims on his second to Hernando's Boy at Kelso last October. Northern Friend was only plating class on the level and has shown little since going hurdling, and for the winner we return to Blaise Wood.
