          Verdict

          Alfieri has been in unstoppable form this year but only had half-a-length to spare over Zalamea at Longchamp last month having beaten him 8 lengths earlier so the assessor probably has hold of him. Arise, beaten a neck over the course and distance last summer, reappeared with a victory over this trip on soft ground at Saint-Cloud and can get into contention though Mikael Barzalona, who rode him, sticks with the former Charlie Appleby-trained DATHANNA (NAP), who made a successful debut for his new yard on heavy going at Clairefontaine in October before just beaten in a Listed contest at Saint-Cloud. She'll be better for her reappearance and gets the vote. Rocquemont failed by a neck under a big weight at Marseille Borely last month and can go well while both Zavrinka and Carlton Choice, like the selection, have been racing in better company and We Ride The World has won four times since October.
