Three-year-olds have a very good record though only one favourite has won in ten years. Aidan O'Brien was successful with a three-year-old filly in 2005 and has two entered here. Easter, who is in the Irish 1000 Guineas and Oaks, made all for a comfortable victory over the odds-on Stellar Glow at Leopardstown and the pair of them could turn out to be useful. The runner-up is trained by Jim Bolger who has Steip Amach entered here. She created a big shock when beating the long odds-on Royal Navy Ship in a Group 3 at Leopardstown where the soft ground looked ideal and she's another with classic entries. The five-year-old ODELIZ has only won three times but she's been placed on numerous occasions at Group level including when half-a-length behind Just The Judge in the Grade 1 E.P. Taylor at Woodbine. She has the best form on view and Karl Burke should have her ready to go. Afternoon Sunlight didn't quite make the expected progress after landing a Group 3 in May but has plenty of time on her side while Avenue Gabriel performed with credit at the highest level.
