Ducky Mallon has won twice around here though it's taken 18 races to do so. He's on exactly the same mark as when beaten a head here in August. Baby Power is the only other course winner in the line-up having beaten a huge field on fast ground in May last year. She returns in excellent form having won at Fairyhouse though she's 7lb higher and Gavin Ryan is unable to use his claim. EDESSANN was having only his second start for Joseph O'Brien when landing a Cork handicap and though more is needed from 8lb higher he is taken to complete a double. Denis Hogan loves these big-field Curragh handicaps and both entries, recent Leopardstown winner Caesar's Comet and the veteran Lincoln, who gained his seventh career victory at Fairyhouse earlier this month, have to go on the short-list.
