Downdraft ended last season with a victory over this trip at Naas and is now 8lb higher after a facile success over 1m4f at Dundalk. He was previously well beaten by HAMLEY over this course and distance and Peter Fahey's mare then ran well on ground softer than ideal at Newmarket. Her stable has been among the winners and Ben Coen's claim can see her take this nice prize.
