David O'Meara sent GULLIVER from Yorkshire for this last year and he failed by a short-head to hold off Romantic Proposal with Master Matt in fourth and Laugh A Minute sixth. He appears to act in any conditions and today's quick going can see him hang on. Verhoyen won the race in 2019 and has bounced back to his best so looks certain to go well while Ice Cold In Alex has been showing excellent speed over 7f and beat a huge field here last month so is greatly respected. The lightly-raced Marbling has shown up very well in two starts in better company since arriving from France while four-times course winner Speak In Colours is gradually dropping to a winnable mark.
