The veteran Maarek has won three times here and has dropped to a fair mark. Any further rain would aid his cause while Ducky Mallon is another who likes the track and he's only 2lb higher than his recent victory at Leopardstown. Blairmayne has run well on three occasions here since scoring at Naas in May so has to be considered while it was difficult not to be impressed by Urban Beat's victory on heavy ground here in May. The latter would be a strong fancy if the going deteriorates while his stable companion Guessthebill looked potentially smart on testing ground last autumn but makes a belated reappearance. Alfredo Arcano has done most of his winning over the minimum but stays this trip and should go well but a chance is taken with PATUANO, a course and distance winner in May who has subsequently run in better company.
