The veteran Spring The Que has run some fine races over fences but disappointed several times and has now gone 16 races over the bigger obstacles without winning. The lightly-raced SOUVENIR ROYAL was always likely to make a better chaser than hurdler and showed real promise when narrowly beaten at Clonmel in April. He didn't get far on his return there last month but was backed into favouritism and losses can be recouped. Headford Flyer fell at the third on his chasing bow at Thurles but this winning bumper and hurdler has the scope to do better and is one to keep an eye on.
