In depth

Verdict

Jack Foley has been making a name for himself and has been snapped up for Lucky Max. However, the Clonmel winner has been raised 7lb and was ridden by a 7lb claimer so will effectively be 12lb higher. Crackaway had been running well on the Flat before scoring at Sligo but appeared well suited by the 2m4f there and has been raised 8lb. Better Than Heaven was also racing over that trip when scoring at Navan and finishing runner-up at Wexford while Capture The Action has been narrowly beaten the last twice but has gone up in the weights and this looks a tough ask. SELECT OPPORTUNITY was returning from a long break when just failing to hold off Pour Pavore over 2m3f at Galway last month. He's been raised 3lb but the winner has gone in again so he can go one better. L'Un Deux Trois has been running well on the Flat and makes his handicap debut.
