In depth

Verdict

McGrath From Clune scored with plenty in hand at Thurles but a 10lb rise makes this tougher. He had earlier finished a close second behind Skinnider here and will be 5lb better off with the winner who hasn't run since a fair effort on a return visit in May. SECRET ROCK (NAP) has been racing on the Flat since landing a Wexford maiden hurdle in March and scored at Roscommon. He doesn't look overburdened on his handicap debut over timber and can go in again. Ricky Bobby looked like winning at Thurles when leading at the last but was run out of it close home. He looks certain to make a bold bid and should get into the frame.
