Winning bumper TAMLOUGH BOY has been threatening to score over hurdles for some time and this looks his opportunity. Noel Meade's charge looked a certain winner at Fairyhouse last time when travelling well throughout but was caught close home by Drumconnor Lad and the longer trip should be in his favour. Carrigmoorna Matt was a 25/1 chance on his return after a break over this track and trip last month but belied his odds with a cracking run behind Sunchyme. With further progress likely he looks the main threat though Monotype, a decent stayer on the Flat, looks certain to be suited by the extra and should get involved. Hickey's Rock has been consistent over much shorter and is another likely to be better over tonight's distance.
